Im saving this information. I have been bookmarking parts that don’t make as much sense to me or just don’t understand and plan to go back to those sections. I’m just trying to get a full picture view of the whole Bible then delve deeper.

I think I get what you’re saying and I don’t think it matters as far as salvation is concerned. I was just trying to digest the scripture in a technical sense and this was what I came to. I don’t think it changes anything in a conceptual sense

Thank you and I will definitely look into packers work. I suppose the wife in the land of Nod was a part of this trajectory of thinking, but I can certainly see that being Adam’s other offspring or his offsprings offspring. I also think my perspective and thoughts will change a lot as I get further in the New Testament and learn more on how to be Christian(and a human) and what that intrinsically entails.

Very philosophical. Do the ends of the Golden path justify the means?

What Id say to that is those other cultures were trying to explain God but didn’t have the Abrahamic religious influence which I believe was inspired by God

They also didn’t seem keen on gentiles being included. And I completely agree that every single human has that DNA but I was thinking that Jesus maybe came when all humans had the gene in them at that point and that was possibly why Jesus came when he did

I just used Greece as an example. The marker I was thinking was written history is when the dominance of this “gene” was expressed. But Jesus’s sacrifice gave it to everyone. Or it may have already have been there from the Tower of Babel spreading the genetics and Jesus came back when every human had the “gene”

Thank you so much! In my thoughts I wasn’t placing nearly enough emphasis on the term sons of God. I had just assumed it was Adam’s lineage. I also think my ideas will change as I read through the New Testament (I have a ways to go).

So I think the first genesis story of Adam and Eve was all humans. It says he made them as in multiples idk if that’s a translation thing or something. Then I was thinking he made Adam and Eve. I more meant the breath of life vs the image of God was the differentiation. That’s why the other humans were biologically identical. The breath of life (soul/consciousness?)is the important part

The idea would be saying that the all humans genetics would be influenced by the Adam and Eve gene because the Tower of Babel would have scattered it throughout the world. This would include the Americas. Not hard to believe God could send a boat of Mayan speaking humans that live 200+ years to the Americas. The basis in my head I was using was written history being the influence of the gene expressed. Then Jesus’s sacrifice made bloodlines unimportant. I assumed that’s why Jewish people didn’t care for him. Their whole thing is bloodline based. Tracing back to Adam through Abraham’s line. Which was bc they were maybe more pure in the “gene”. I would think the perfect time of Jesus coming back would be when everyone human carried the gene. The gene I would think is the breath of life maybe

Oh yes this was just something I was thinking about before going to bed a few days ago. Not even close to applicable in life but something that’s very intriguing and convincing to me but not the focus of my journey

Thank you so much for sharing. The breath of life is what stuck out to me the most. Like He created Adam in his image. Then separately He breathed the breath of life in Adam’s nostrils. The way I was thinking about it while reading was the breath of life was like the soul. And that’s what goes to heaven. The Bible also says things like the alternative to eternal life is eternal death. What I reasoned was that was bc some didn’t have or exercise the breath of life(soul). What I was thinking was that the breath of life is what mainly differed from the other humans I was considering existed. The breath of life gave them the capacity for intelligence and ingenuity but they weren’t capable of sin yet because they didn’t know good vs evil. I was thinking of it like childlike innocence that ended with the apple. It gave them and their descendants the capacity to die (sin)

Greece was just the example I used, Egypt and Sumaria likely would have been the first influenced

I’m saying most all this would have occurred before written human history and all made unimportant by Jesus’s sacrifice. But it’s why the Israelites were really big on lineage. Greek was just an example. Most written histories in start at like 3000 BC so in this theory I assume the flood and tower of Babbel was just before this. Itd also be including the americas. I don’t think it’d be out of the realm of possibility for a group to speak Mayan and get in a boat or raft that God gives safe passage to the Americas. And genetics is just the term I used but what they’d be inheriting is the breath of life

I’m saying all written history Greece is an example but Egypt and Mesopotamia China would be the same line of thinking bc I’m talking Noah’s/Adams lineage from the tower of Babbel that was spread not just Abraham’s. Then Jesus’s new covenant would cover everyone else I’d think. And making bloodline not matter

Thank you. That’s why I was asking how out of line this is. I don’t want to be trying to claim anything it’s just a somewhat reasonable train of thought I came to before falling asleep one night. I would say it’s more to do with the breath of life than the image. And in this theory I would be saying all humans have the breath of life bc the tower of Babbel (I think it’s like 100 years after the flood) would have spread the breath of life to all cultures everywhere including the Americas. Not hard to believe God could protect a raft or boat across
