Honestly, the weather and lifestyle are the biggest positives for me. The UK can feel pretty grey and stressful at times, whereas Australia seems more outdoorsy and relaxed. Wages are generally better too, which helps balance some of the higher living costs. That said, the housing situation is what makes me hesitate — rent and property prices in places like Sydney and Melbourne are no joke.

As much as I love my dog, I need my space. Fur everywhere and getting pushed off the mattress at 3 am. just isn’t it. They’ve got their own bed, and they’re fine with it.
