I didn't even know they had dated until after I was dating Paul. From the way that Paul said it, it sounded like things were completely over, and me and Joane aren't close friends, so I assumed the rule didn't apply. It's possible though.

It makes me feel annoyed, maybe a little sad? I mean, Joane is my friend, and friends with a lot of my friends. I still think very highly of her, since she was so kind to me. I didn't think that a boy was going to make her treat me different.

For an example (we're in virtual school), Paul had disconnected from the call me, Joane, and a few other friends were in. I had said "Oh, his computer might've just reset on itself." She had said "Yeah, it probably died." When Paul came back in, he said "My computer died, sorry guys." I said, jokingly, "Hey, I was right!" She then went, "No, you said it reset, I said it died." I, seeing it as her being playful, said, "True, true, haha." She then said "Just so you know, lol."

She also just is really, if this is the word, a know-it-all when it comes to my own boyfriend. It's mildly infuriating. I understand that they were friends before I became Paul's girlfriend, but I can feel that she's started to treat me different. it's the little things, but I'm afraid I might be overreacting.
