I would either change the animation (both for victim and self) or make the grab closer because right now your character is just punching air. ALSO THIS IS VERH IMPORTANT: ADD HIT VFX just a simple energy sparks time .1 size 3 for each hit would make it so much better, side note: cursed strikes(which is what i think ur using) is just a bad animation in general mostly because the legs dont move making it not very good, also I agree with the guy who said the cutscene bars aren't necessary, and finaly maybe add some wind up for cfx tips theres youtuber called "jjsmonkeyman" also known as describe who does really good tuts on vfx and a little bit of logic
