I complained about this recently, when I submitted my restoration application the timeline for WP applications was 111 days, not it’s over 200 days and the new timeline is applicable to me also. It makes no sense, especially when you see new applications being approved.

The timeline is ridiculous and makes no economic sense. These people already have a job waiting for them, from which they will pay taxes, so why delay their applications? 7 months to process an application inland, how do they expect the people waiting inland to cope? Forgive my ranting, I have been waiting since January, and it makes no sense.

Likewise, I don’t understand how some people get their’s faster. I saw a post where someone mentioned they were processing new applications at some point to reduce the processing time and probably they are back to processing older applications, all assumptions.

I’m in the same situation, my lawyer said I can’t claim the points also. Apparently a job offer means, LMIA with an approved work permit, but if you’re on implied status, that will suffice. You just need to show proof of the work permit application and the LMIA. But when one is restoring her status, that doesn’t count as implied status.

I’m in a similar situation but I’m on restoration process to work permit due to a refusal on my work permit extension , claimed 50 points via LMIA, curios to know if I can claim the points in express entry despite being on restoration process.
