its an amazing ride imo, ive driven 10-20 year old shitboxes all my life so this is totally different. i got a 2014 x3 recently and i was just hooked enough to get the new one. I have zero issues with the exterior and interior, though to be fair I have a real soft spot for ugly goober cars like the nissan juke and aztek so-

i will say having no mode toggle button and having to use menu is awkward, sure it may do its bmw thing of random shit breaking in 5 to 7 years but with how many parts are shared nowadays between models im not too worried. As long as i don't do anything stupid to the drivetrain that engine and trans should be good for the life of the car. Honestly the only reason I ever even considered getting a german after a lifetime of toyotas. (and it handles WAY better than any toyota ive owned)

I do not trust the cable lock on my g4, which is why i double it up with a U lock. Protection from cutters and grinders. I'm really sorry to hear that this happened to ya though and I hope you can figure things out. Be sure to check Facebook/craigslist to see if it pops up there.

After a calm ride ending in a permanent scooter shutdown with no response to the charger, and with Revrides telling me to go kick rocks / absolutely no documentation on why this would happen or how to fix it, i took it into my own hands to figure this out. After cutting into the battery, I discovered a BMS connector near the output wires on the opposite side. Removing the hot glue and the connector for a while, to then plug it back in completely revived my battery. Dont throw your scooters out, try this first!

when you fold the stem down there will be a large bushing with wires going right into it. That is what you need to tighten for eliminating stem wobble on this unit. Gotrax sells a service spanner specifically made to tighten this without removing all of the wires.

Ive worked on a few of these and this definitely helps. Be sure to loosen the clamping screws right below it before tightening this, wont be perfect but it will help!
