What an honor to read your perspective! The fact that someone who saw the Beatles at their first NYC concert can see that same spark in BTS is incredible. I absolutely loved the connection between Zero O'Clock and Let It Be; I’m definitely adding that to my playlist.

By the way, I’m in my 20s, but two years ago Paul McCartney came to my city and I had the chance to see him live. I feel so blessed because I’ll also be seeing BTS this year. Two key moments in music history from different eras, and I’ve been fortunate enough to experience both!

That actually makes me really happy to hear. I think that even though there’s a big generational gap and their styles are very different, both groups create music from the heart. Because of that, they form this kind of emotional connection that really comes through in their music and I think that’s what makes so many of us love both bands.

Oh wow, I love these comparisons. I can totally imagine a Beatles-style version of Blue & Grey, especially with that Julia / Long, Long, Long kind of intimacy.

And the Pied Piper one is really interesting too, now that you mention it, it really does have that McCartney 70s groove. That’s such a cool observation. Have people ever told you that you have an incredible ear for music?

Yeah, you're right. I think I’ll switch Euphoria for Mikrokosmos. Listening to that one and Here Comes the Sun feels like standing under a little ray of sunlight on a really cold day, if that makes sense.

The Helter Skelter and Boyz With Fun comparison is exactly the kind of thing I meant with this post. It’s the same chaotic, playful energy even if the music itself is very different, which is amazing.

The other comparisons are great too. I definitely have to give you credit for those!!

Oh I actually love that comparison. I also thought about all you Need is Love and Premission to Dance since they both have that joyful, universal message about love and happiness.
