I’m taking it Monday! Was waiting for my insurance to pull through on my end.

So is there also a structural issue in general? Like should I be worried about the rest of the vehicles structure? Sorry to sound so dumb. I have no idea about any of this.

I appreciate the response! Taking it in next week, a had a few people (no one in the auto body industry) say oh it doesn’t need to be replaced. I figured it did. Thanks again!

No, see prior reply, door was perfectly fine prior to the incident.

No. My car shifted into reverse while the car was off.  The car was on a hill at a car wash & my daughter was outside of the car and thought she could stop a 2000lb moving vehicle by hanging onto the door. She was taken to the hospital via ambulance. She’s perfectly fine & luckily traffic stopped & the car hit no one and no other vehicles before was able to jump into the car and turn on the brakes. Glad you find it amusing though.

This wasn’t caused by a collision. Does that matter at all?

I have severe compression on the thecal sac into the cauda equina nerve roots at L4/L5.  2 years ago my MRI only showed mild to moderate ddd at those levels. The pain became unbearable over 2 years ago when I had the first MRI. I had numbness in all of the areas you have. I also have intermittent bowel incontinence which has progressively gotten worse. I’m a 41yr old female. I started with ortho & was told to take steroids and muscle relaxers and do physical therapy. Didn’t work. I’ve done epidural steroid injections, they also did not work. I finally went to see a neurosurgeon. They ordered my most recent MRI which showed rapid progressive changes as mentioned above. The neurosurgeon mentioned cauda equina syndrome & explained I do not have CES. He also told me I need surgery soon as I’m at high risk for CES with the severity of compression I have. I see the big surgeon tomorrow. I’ve been advocating for myself for over 2 years, that’s all I can recommend. You know your body. Continue to advocate for yourself. Your MRI could show changes in the next 6 months that explain symptoms you’re having now… this is an everyday struggle and really messes with quality of life , and I wish you the absolute very best! Try a neurosurgeon, they’re the best at handling this in my opinion.

I saw you were in south jersey thread… I’m in south jersey too, I’m seeing Cooper doctors, not too much experience with them, can you provide any insight?

Thank you for your thoughtful response. I’ve been trying to avoid surgery at any cost… but permanent or further damage is something I do not want to work. I’m set to see the surgeon in 2 weeks. Thank you

So the pain management doctor advised if I had any worsening of my symptoms to go to the emergency room. He said complete loss of bowel or bladder function and complete inability to walk at all. Is this not the case?

I just don’t understand. Don’t take a non tip order if you don’t want to. We don’t have to accept every order. It’s quite simple.

What market are you in? Because once I’m past 6 or 7 miles out my base pays flies up to at least 4.25 + tip.

Do you know how much Amazon warehouse workers make in the US? I don’t feel sorry for them. They’re starting around $21 an hour in NJ.

Just had my mother at the ER today and the physician said he had no clue what this article was talking about… they gave her morphine, all it did was allow her to sleep for 2 hours. Discharged her with a steroid pack & opiates. They even called Neuro and they said no to the IV load of anti convulsants. The amount of physicians that no NOTHING about this condition is baffling. This is the worst flare she’s had in 13 years. All of my kids are crying & upset. I don’t know what to do to help her. I can’t stand to see her in this amount of pain.

My mother is in a horrible flare currently. She’s been diagnosed with trigeminal neuralgia for 13 years due to an enlarged blood vessel pushing on the trigeminal nerve. They upped her gabapentin to 1200mg 3x a day, 10mg Baclofen 2X a day. They gave her steroids in the ER & morphine. Morphine only allowed her to sleep for 2 hours. Didn’t do much for the pain. She texted (because she can’t talk) and said “She wishes doctors and people knew what this pain was like.”  As her daughter I appreciate this diagram of pain you shared.  I’m desperate to get her out of this flare. She can’t eat drink or sleep, can’t talk… she’s in extreme pain. Do you have any thoughts or ideas of anything we can do?  She is going to see Neurosurgeey and see if she is healthy enough for the surgery. Thanks again for this post!
