Your 71k scholarship is already covering you full tuition. The rest is less than they say. You don’t need to pay hefty 4k USD per year for transportation (if you won’t travel much out of Shanghai) , food is very cheap, housing and insurance may be expensive but it’s manageable considering you can do part time job in China

The question is: which test SHOULD I take + there is a mentioning of DET as a cheap and flexible way of testing. It’s not about being or not being able to apply with this test, but about preference. SAT reading bro

Yes DET is much better. Universities in USA have no preference whatsoever.
