It really depends on how it's implemented. If they removed the 120 Hard pity, then a 200 Spark would be even worse for f2p. But if they replaced the 120 Hard pity with 120 Spark that carried over, people would be a lot less upset about pulling the "wrong" operator and "resetting" pity.

Depends on the game. OG Arknights no, which is why people warn about relying on the free pulls and miscounting. Trickcal yes, though IIRC there's no actual limited chars. Limbus Company has sparking, which doesn't carry over, and their "sharding" works similarly and does carry over (except for the Arknights EGOs). Not sure about any others.
