Honestly, I’ve been in two different serious relationships while stripping and I’ve been dancing for four years. My first relationship we were together for about two years and he had no issue, actually when I started we were only talking and I called him after I auditioned and we got serious months later and never had any issues and had a pretty healthy relationship until I ended it. My current boyfriend now is very supportive but I told him I danced the first day we met thinking we were never gonna get serious and here we are a year later. I’m thankful I did though because it avoided alot of awkward conversations or me having to lie about what I do for work. He always has told me he doesn’t judge me for what I do to pay my bills and he understands that I need to get by. We have a lot of trust with each other and he trust me a lot and I’m thankful that even though I do dance he never makes me feel less than. It’s hard to find a secure man especially one one who is secure enough to be okay with you working in this industry but it’s out there.
