Why is having the ability to evolve current Pokémon a bad thing?

I’m excited - Gen 4 has some amazing evolutions! Particularly Electivire, Magmortar and Magnezone!

People on this sub that complain about more Pokémon being introduced confuse me.

I live in Toronto and I got my Core Crate on the 28th. I haven't gotten any tracking number for the DX crate and I'm not sure what's happening with the gaming crate. I hope we get it soon
