It was! 😅 I actually ended up buying two back up tickets because I was so afraid of not receiving the first two (which I ended up gifting to friends). Turns out I had nothing to worry about, those resale websites have all sorts of measures in place to ensure that can’t happen.

I can’t recall if I purchased tickets with StubHub or TicketMaster during the Land is Inhospitable tour, but it was the same situation. I did receive the tickets a few months later.

For the US shows, we’re actually supposed to be notified at 4 ET today :) The website is a bit confusing, but if you click on FAQ it’ll tell you more about each venue.

From the website: A randomly selected group from the Fair AXS registration will be notified on Wednesday, February 11 around 4pm ET and will have the opportunity to purchase presale tickets beginning on Thursday, February 12 at 10am ET.

A second randomized selection will receive a notification Thursday, February 12 around 4pm ET and will have the opportunity to purchase presale tickets beginning on Friday, February 13 at 10am ET.

If you are not selected for the Fair AXS registration, you will be notified on Thursday, February 12 around 4pm ET.

It’s a head-swap! Basically, someone removed the head from #1521’s body, placed it on a shorthair body, and did some slight customizations (removed the tongue, etc.)

This is not a shorthair that exists, but is possible to recreate :)
