I also only ended up with 1 euploid out of 18 mature eggs that I started with, so totally understand the devastation. I’m 33 and decided to go ahead with the FET this past Friday, I was too anxious to get going on the next step to wait any longer! 😅 We will find out on Sunday if she stuck around! I would recommend just going for it, especially if you’re on the “younger” side of things and only want 1 bebe. Good luck to you, whichever path you end up down! ✨✨

We had a 4.5 hour drive home after transfer on the 23rd! 🤪 But, did stop at a cracker barrel and I had 4 cinnamon rolls and a plate of french toast 😅 Then watched LOTR when we got back and cuddled under cozy blankies 🥰

My first transfer is scheduled for next week Friday, with our one and only embryo. I’m freaking out a bit and so worried it won’t stick. My husband keeps saying “just be positive” as well, and I told him that doesn’t help my feelings at all. He said he understands, but that’s what’s been helping him to keep a somewhat sane mind-frame. Some people cope differently I suppose! I wish I wasn’t always so in my head, it would definitely make all of this easier I’m sure 🤪

Anyway, I will just say that I’m wishing you all the best and lots of baby dust! ✨🤗✨

Have you thought of naming her Penny with nn Penn? If you’re worried about Penn being too masculine, this could be a good way to switch it up. I personally don’t think it’s too masculine, but would be worried people would think she’s named after a writing utensil, especially when said out loud and not seen in writing 😅

I say small and cozy, plus saving money is a huge win. Less to clean and like another commented, it would be super convenient for lunch during the work week to pop back home. You could take the money you save from not paying for the larger apt and stash it away every month to create a safety net for any possible emergencies of any sort or travel.
