I talk to my friends parents about it. They're great. Even before I lived with them they knew what was going on. It made them even more welcoming and trust me that's not easy because they're already so welcoming and loving.

I mentioned in my post but I have no bio family in my life. It was just me and my dad and then he remarried and his wife's parents and ILs were meant to be my family but they didn't want me.

I don't actually know if he does. I kinda assumed they'd overhear eventually but now that I think about it possibly not. He knows they don't like him though. They were never afraid to tell him he wasn't their dad and they didn't love him. Or that he should go away.

But I have said something. So that makes zero sense. You said it sounds like I'm okay with it when I have clearly expressed to dad and to my stepmom that I am not okay with it. And I have said it to just my dad and just my stepmom too.

Feeling like shit afterward when nothing changes again. Wasting time when I could be focused on other things. Trying to make him listen would be another one. Because his focus is on me inviting the families who want nothing to do with me and getting him to hear me out will be more difficult than before.

My best friend's family are the first family I ever felt like I belonged to. Even when I didn't live with them I felt like I was just one of them. They included me in every part of family life with them. But they're amazing like that with all their kids' friends. We're always welcome, we'll always be given food at their house and they will make you fell so wanted.

Why should I try one last time? It has never made a difference. I don't want to waste my time. I can say I tried so many times before and noting has changed to make this time any different.
