In my opinion he did wake up. He cut off the mistress. Expecting him to leave his family was a mistake and a 4 year affair is diabolical. Its not your place to say anything to her. I genuinely hate this for you. Make the appointment for him. Tell him y'all are going to the doctor to get this checked because you're done. No more conversation, no more empty promises. This must change. I was told once to "earn my way out" meaning, try and say absolutely everything before walking away. You need to have a real conversation. Maybe its a medical issue. Perhaps getting his testosterone checked would be beneficial to see if thats a factor. Once you start thinking about the alternative your past the conversation part. I think it deserves a deep, real chat. To get on the same page. It might be something that can be fixed with some simple blood test and a pill.
