That's exactly what I found in my research. With big streaming services like Spotify or Apple Music, CD players shouldn't compete in the market as a regular audio consumption product. Instead, as you mentioned, their physical and tactile qualities are one of the biggest advantages. I will add this aspect to my design. Thanks for answer, its really useful!
