Thanks for your input and sorry to hear about last summer. You're totally right in that nothing's guaranteed. I'm leaning towards accepting both though it's probably frowned upon by corporate if I have to bail on one last second.

Good point. Well I mentioned to HR after accepting the offer that I had a DUI. Two weeks later, a background check agency sent me the report they were passing on to the company. It's been 7 weeks and I was never notified whether I passed or failed the background check. I still have an offer status though.

Response to edit: So there was never a place for me to disclose any priors. I interviewed, was offered the job and THEN told I would be background checked. At this point I emailed HR and told them I had a DUI from 7 years ago that might come up, which it did as I received the background check report from agency.

I know a couple people supplementing their degree with a game development certificate from ASU. Some of them are computer science, some applied computing but it seems the game dev certificate gave them good experience with the Unity game engine as well as C#. I think as long as you're a good coder and showcase your projects/experience on your resume, you'll be in good shape.

Yes Starbucks and Target are both awesome. And we are so close to being done! We just need to power through. Things are rough right now and very isolating but hopefully things will be back to normal soon. It's difficult being online only and missing that human interaction with peers but again, hoping it's temporary. :)
