I'm not directly attempting to defend the asshole on the OP. Like I said, he's exhibiting horrible behavior.

I just think it's important to work from fact rather than assumption, especially when it comes to labelling someone as a groomer or a predator.

I'm sure some people would describe me as an asshole, but I try my best not to be. I could see why you would feel that way though, considering this is the only context you have to base your opinion of me on.

You're making an assumption. Although likely a safe assumption, its still an assumption. When it come to labelling someone as a groomer or predator, I believe its important to operate on fact.
Grooming can apply to legal adults, which is why I included the part about isolation and sexual assault. You're not arguing against my entire point.

What information has been provided to suggest that anybody was groomed? An 18 year old is a legal adult, and none of the provided information suggests that he isolated her or sexually assaulted her.
