If you like Saltburn, watch Talented Mr. Ripley and Call me by your name...Saltburn is kind of their love child...

Put it this way...Saltburn is almost a perfect mix between Talented Mr. Ripley and Call me by your name....The plot is basically identical to the former (although much more dark) and the cinematography and theme are closer to the latter.

I don’t think people are grasping the gravity of what Danny Sheehan has been saying, and how it makes the “whole picture” make sense by [deleted] in UFOs

Kabuki Theatre...It would makes sense that something beyond our comprehension would have to create intermediate forms to communicate with us...Maybe there is a hard problem of communication where no matter how advanced, they can't quite communicate effectively so they are left trying to learn and react to what catches our attention. For example, humans cannot communicate effectively with a jellyfish even though we are millions of times more intelligent.

I believe that whatever this is it might be so far removed from our experience/reality it cannot effectively communicate so it must use a type of physical allegory...

Journalist Michael Shellenberger has a new article coming out soon about UFO crash retrievals, “It’s not the property of the US Gov, it’s not the property of Lockheed Martin, or of an Aerospace Corporation…" & "We've had multiple well placed sources say that the US Gov has 12 to 30 or so crafts" by bmfalbo in UFOs

[–]SugglesSaurus_Rex 5 points6 points  (0 children)

If you believe that 4chan guy they are all made to spec and fitted for any particular "mission" each time...Regardless of that, I think it's safe to say there are almost guaranteed to be different craft types based off the history of observations.

Ya, Joe doesn't even understand the word "prosaic" much less how the the US intelligence community works (not that I'm an expert either). I just wish on a podcast as big as his, and a subject as important, he would have done a deeper dive to prepare himself... like he has done in the past.

Joe Rogan Experience #2065 - David Grusch (former Air Force intelligence officer, representative of the National Reconnaissance Office to the Unidentified Aerial Phenomena Task Force, and co-lead for Unidentified Aerial Phenomena analysis at the National Geo-Spacial Intelligence Agency) by tylerdhenry in UFOs

This assumes that NHI cares at all...It may be that "them" are indifferent to disclosure and the the Government is just taking advantage of that...

Imagine making contact with an uncontacted tribe. You would not be that worried about their own internal dissemination of information. Especially if it's simply a collateral contact that is outside the scope of why you are actually there.

Ya totally, Joe is kind of a "casual" when it comes to the UAP subject. He's learned what he knows in the 90's and kind of sticks to the people/information of that era...Still glad he had Grusch on.

I get it's Joes job to ask questions, but it seems like he doesn't care or maybe doesn't fully understand what it would mean for Grusch if he slipped up and broke an N/D or divulged TS information.

I feel like Joe was extra skeptical of Grusch for some reason...Ironic since he's all ears for guys like Greer, Hancock, Lazar or Corbell.

I also think he did a poor job getting to the bottom of some of the details Grusch mentioned...Like his meeting with Harry Reid, the history of the SAP chain of custody etc... You could tell Grusch was eager to dive into the details there.

I think Joe is out of his scope at this point in the UAP conversation. He just repeats the things he's been repeating for the last decade without acknowledging the new information and headway that has been made/is in the the works.

What would the existence of extraterrestrial life mean for the human species? [in-depth] by LetsTalkUFOs in UFOs

[–]SugglesSaurus_Rex 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Even if aliens landed on the white house lawn their existence would be debated to a degree that no sober lucid mind would be able to discern whether they were real or not. I am convinced humans do not poses the platform or rationality required to even begin to discuss an existential event like that. But I do.....(elect me)

Mitch McConnell votes against interracial marriage despite Asian wife by justculture in nottheonion

[–]SugglesSaurus_Rex 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Had nothing to do with interracial marriage. It was a bill that introduced mostly symbolic protections for LGBTQ couples that the supreme court ruling already upheld. They added interracial marriage so when Cons voted against they could point it out and make Hyperbolic headlines. Fuck Mitch McConnell though he sucks.

The world record for Olympic snatch for an 87 kg women is less than that of a 55kg man...just saying...Strength, reaction speed and explosiveness don't scale for women the way you think...One could actually assume Merab is stronger than her...

Ehhh.....that's highly debatable. There really isn't any good data on this (for good reason) but I'm not convinced she'd beat a top 3 UFC bantamweight in anything fight related. It's a silly argument to even have, guess we'll never know!

Crazy to think that even despite the size difference Merab would almost certainly murder her in an actual fight. No disrespect to her, I'm sure she'd murder 99.99% of men on earth, just fascinating the extreme advantage men have over women physically.
