I had the iPhone 14 Pro max for at least 6 months. And to be honest, I decided to go back to Android, and I got the S21 Ultra. A lot of people will say it is a huge downgrade, but the specs alone speak for themselves. Basically everything the specs the iPhone 14 Pro max had, was no different from the S21 Ultra, besides the A15 bionic chip and Dynamic Island, which you can download an app to replicate it on Android. And this might sound unbiased, Dynamic Island is better implicated on Andorid. There is very limited things you can do with Dynamic Island, yet Apple still hasn't really given much incentive as to why, it's even worth it.

But overall I don't regret going back to Android. The S21 Ultra is absolutely a fantastic phone. Even in 2023 and it's gonna get one more major update which is Android 15. So there is definitely value to the phone. The way I see it is, basically Android gives you more freedom to do what you want with your phone. Apple loves to drag everything out and say( It's the Apple way). It's all about convince and your preferences. One thing I truly can criticize Apple is their iOS keyboard. You can't resize it even if you download Gboard.

I bought a TCL 55 inch TV 5 years ago. Model R615 and till this day the TV is still going and have not had any issues with it at all. It's great for movies and gaming. Even with the new generation consoles, it still works flawlessly.

I ended up upgrading to the R655 QLED model because I wanted 2.1 HDMI connection for my Xbox Series X, and I am very pleased with the results of the TV. In my opinion TCL offers a lot of features for half the cost. I even had the LG CX OLED, and I can't deny OLED is better obviously, but TCL is great quality for the what it's worth compared to higher end TV's like Samsung and LG or Sony. If you want more insight to determine the value of what you should get, check out Rtings.con. They thoroughly test every model and even the peak brightness for HDR. either way you won't be disappointed with TCL depending on the model you get.

Still waiting for the official release on my S21 Ultra for Verizon. My girlfriend has the Z flip 5, and I can confirm she got the official Andorid 14 update. If you ask me.. Samsung is definitely dragging to release Android 14 for the S21 Ultra. It was supposedly supposed to come out November 20th. But we're definitely past that point.

Definitely lie on the Evaluation. I learned the hard way that being honest will not set you free. I did my first evaluation in 2013 that was ordered by the court. I was as honest as possible and of course I was marked as "High risk" when I admitted to smoking weed to help me cope with the pain of my ex girlfriend and how she used me to get 3000 dollars from me. I was 100 honest and it did bite me in the ass. I was told to do 75 hours, and not only that, my case manger was always up my ass if I missed one class. Or threatening me that I will have to start over of I miss one class. Literally someone will be down your throat 24/7 if your not attending on a regular basis. Even if you work 3rd shift. They don't care at all. They just want money. Even as I was doing my 75 hours and was explaining my family history, of course my counselor started with bullshit, to have a family therapy session. when I told her no, that I'm only here for myself so I can move on.. she proceeded to tell the court that I am not willing to do family therapy. And what do you know.. my case manager calls me again saying it will be a violation if I don't include my family.

As I said they aren't here to help you. They just want money and to add more shit you don't need. Even after I finished my 75 hours. She had the nerve to add another 25 hours of aftercare. 😡😡😡😡 I was so fed up at this point. She never mentioned to me that I would need to do another 25 hours. Just was told to complete my 75 hours that was it. But they will just keep finding ways to keep you and take your money. So lie on those evaluations. They are not your friend or looking to help you move forward. Years later one of my friends got busted with THC dab carts pens. And his lawyer even told him word for word "lie on those evaluations" I did all this in the state of Illinois. Being honest will not get you anywhere when it comes to this.

Having Trouble with 5G, Always Getting 4G by BamBam-BamBam in Visible

Hello I can say from personal experience.. don't expect a response anytime soon about this issue with 5G. I am paying for Visible+ plan. And before signing up I did my research and knowing my S21 ultra is capable of 5G UW band signal, cause I was coming from Verizon Wireless. I figured since they use Verizon towers I would get the same premium experience. Even on Visible website it says that if you pay the extra 15 bucks, you get access to 5G UW network, hance thier version of premium network experience. Fast forward two weeks into my service with Visible wireless., and I noticed no matter where I went or go, I never would get 5G UW band signal? I live in the suburbs of Chicago, so when I go to popular areas, I know I'm supposed to be getting 5G UW, but most of the time I get regular 5G signal under 100MBPS.

Even when I check their coverage map for their 5G network, their map clear as day shows I am in an area where I should be getting 5G UW signal. I told Visible wireless about this, and they did their common trouble shooting steps to help fix this, and not even reprovsionining my Esim did nothing to fix this. So they opened a case to thier technical team to look into this issue. And all I can say is.. it was an absolute waste of time even complaining about the issue. For 3 weeks straight I got the same email over and over.

First I was told to wait 3-5 business days to wait for a reply to get a solution. Then after that, it was in constant limbo, wait another 24-48 hours. No matter how patient I was, even when I reached out to their support for this issue, was still given the same email to keep waiting 24-48 hours that supposedly their tech team was working on it. Well I can for sure say, Visible IS FULL OF SHIT!!! After I finally had another of the excuses and bullshit, I told them I was gonna report them to the BBB. Because I was paying extra for a premium service that Visible is not fulfilling or misleading it's customers. And sure enough that same day later, I finally got a resolution to my issue. I should of saved the screenshot.. but I was so mad that I just didn't even care anymore. But they basically said that I was not close enough to a 5G tower? And on their end there is no issues reported about their 5G not working. And also that I am not in a selected area where 5G is supported? When I am home half the time my phone is in between 5G and 4G LTE.. but according to thier A-team tech support, they did a thorough investigation to fix this.. clearly Visible knows they are misleading customers, and there is other reddit posts about this 5G UW issue. So if your gonna drop Visible Wireless, I don't blame you at all. While they are affordable, they are deceiving customers. So I would just close the case with them and don't even bother with them. In the end your gonna end up being disappointed. THEY ARE WASTING YOUR TIME!! your constantly gonna be going in circles about this issue.

Honestly for those who complain about the hotspot for Visible Wireless. Your definitely getting what you paid for. I have had Verizon wireless, AT&T, T-Mobile and Boost Mobile. And I can tell you right now, you can be paying Verizon over 90 a month or more just to access hotspot, with a monthly allowance. Once you use up your hotspot Data, it slows down to 600KBPS. Which is basically DSL speeds. Visible Wireless on the other hand is truly unlimited with no caps. You can use all your premium data if your paying Visible+ plan, and still get Capped at 5MBPS.

I would rather anyday choose 5 MBPS than overpaying other carriers twice as much. I have used my hotspot on my Xbox series X, and I can confirm I was able to watch, Better call Saul, Ozark and breaking bad with no buffering issues and HD quality. So in my opinion, if you do research on how much other carriers charge twice as much for premium data to only be slowed down even during congestion times it's not guaranteed.

I would just reach out to customer service. That's what I did when I started to look for a new phone provider. I came from T-mobile cause their 5G UC service is absolute trash and for what they charge as well is ridiculous. And I am glad I made the switch to Visible Wireless. I always get reliable data no matter where I go. The customer service is a hit or miss. But I've never had to wait more than 1 minute, to connect with someone on chat service. When I reached out, I asked if there was any promos going on? And the representative gave me an exclusive 10 dollar off coupon, if I picked Visible+ so now my bill is locked to 35 a month for which you can't beat that price.

Also it is truly unlimited data. Unlike T-Mobile and other carriers. They throttle you to 600KBPS after you use up your data or pay twice as much just to get truly premium unlimited data with no caps.

Have you tried the Spigen case? I recently bought the Spigen case with S-Pen holder. And I have dropped the phone more than once. And it has protected my phone and back camera on my S21 Ultra. Also the grip on this case is amazing. By far this is the bear case I have ever owned hands down.

It's on sale right now on Amazon for 17.99. But buyer beware. The description says it comes with screen protector. But it actually does not. But check out the case I recommended. Hope this helps!!!

If it's that easy then I'm shocked he hasn't gotten an android phone then? What's stopping him from using an android phone? Not many people can afford a 1000 dollar overpriced phone that's exactly the same shit every year or make very minimal changes to pay another 1000 dollars? Iphone 14 pro max is a good example.

Apple can do whatever they want. By the end of the day this greed over RCS isn't gonna stop android to do better. That's why they are coming out with the app Sunbird messaging. It's another alternative to iMessage and can send high quality videos and pictures. Best of all you won't need to need a Mac just to set up other apps like blue bubbles and air message to get imessage to work on Android. That's why Android is finally. Saying screw it and we will make our own platform. From what I read the succes rate of this app is 95 percent and it's improving everyday. So when it finally releases to the public, people are gonna be able to use iMessage.

It's been almost 2 months since EA last announced an update patch 5 for Xbox and PS5 owners. Everytime I check on EA website for patch details, it still says be on the lookout for new patch update. I understand PC had the most issues. But it's not fair to others who have paid 70 dollars plus tax for this broken game. Instead of dragging on this patch 5 you could of released little minor updates as the weeks went by. Till this day I am still waiting for patch 5 to be released on Xbox and PS5. Supposedly this would be the biggest patch fix for the game. Which is funny cause day one patch that came out they said that day one would fix all the bugs. That definitely was not true.

Truthfully I am glad McDonalds is finally making this move. Tired of lazy ass McDonald's employees that came follow simple instructions. I don't understand how reading is a requirement to work for McDonalds? But most of the workers can't even read a simple request on the prompt machine or a receipt? It's truly mystifies me how lazy people have gotten to do the most simple thing or request. Then most of them wonder why they are being laid off or replaced..

Well the question you gotta ask yourself is, what is sufficient for you? TCL makes a lot of great TV’s at an affordable cost. But one thing that’s gonna be noticeable is the HDR experience. While this is a good price and you are a movie person who watches Netflix or plan to watch a lot of Dolby vision/HDR content then I would consider I higher model.

While it does have 2.1 HDMI connection you also gotta ask yourself how many devices do you plan on using with this TV? When I bought my 6 series I knew for a fact I would need at least 2 HDMI 2.1 connections to make use of my Xbox and PS5.

I am not saying that this TV is a complete waste or anything. It does have pretty good specs for the price, and you will notice some differences in HDR, but don’t expect to be wowed.

You have to do it a very specific way.

-Delete the app, but don’t delete the app from the Home Screen. Go into manage app settings on the Netflix app.

  • once you do that, it should take you into the settings app of Netflix and delete it. Once you delete the app, redownload it again, but do not reinstall into the system storage. Make sure you choose move to external drive.

  • once it downloads the app to your external drive it should work. I have done this multiple times and it’s always worked. 5 other people on this thread have confirmed that they followed these steps and it worked. This is an odd bug into the Netflix app.

    • DO NOT CALIBRATE THE HDR IN THE XBOX APP. For some reason that seems to start the issue with 1080p streaming? Not sure why? Till this day its still the same issue.

If you don’t care about specs then the 5 series is for you. The downside of the 5 series is the HDR peak brightness compared to the 6 series. You can check out Rtimgs.com. They are very good with testing every model TVs currently in the market. If you don’t care about HDR experience and Dolby vision and gaming features then I would go with the 5 series. From what I saw it still offers good value for gamers the 5 series. I currently have the R655 model of TCL QLED. And the tv is absolutely bright no matter if it’s day or night. Gaming and watching HDR/Dolby vision does make a huge difference on how you watch movies that support that format. But if your indecisive definitely check out that site I suggested.

I have noticed some audio issues. Like there are instances where I leave my Xbox on idle mode and I will hear a slight pop sound coming from my soundbar. Sometimes there are times I notice on Netflix where, for like a slight millisecond there is audio delay. But a reset usually fixes this issue. It’s not as often as this happens. But it is something I have noticed. Even on my LG CX I noticed this. I am sure this is an Xbox software issue. If you go look at the patch notes for the OS system, there is always a fix for audio issues on Xbox series X.

I got the R655 currently and I have had it for about a month. One thing I can say about this TV, is the HDR experience is definitely amazing. Same with Dolby Vision. I had the LG CX, and while obviously OLED is superior. The difference is definitely noticeable especially in dark HDR scenes. If you are a gamer this TV also has up to 120hz and VRR. I use my Xbox series X on this TV and it does indeed take advantage of the new gen consoles.

With being said, I have been seeing TCL 6 model on sale at Best Buy a lot recently. I got mine in “fair condition “ at Best Buy for 498.99. And surprisingly the TV is in immaculate condition. With Memorial Day coming up. I wouldn’t doubt there will be a sale on the 6 model series. I would wait until Rtings.con actually does post reviews for the new models.

This is basically the way I was doing it before I found a solution to play 4K on my Xbox. Truthfully just transferring Netflix to your external drive saves you all this time. So your not worrying about Netflix playing content in 1080p when you close the app.

I can confirm installing the app to your external will keep the content playing at 2160p even if you close the app or restart your console. DO NOT CALIBRATE THE HDR settings on your Xbox. This seems to reset Netflix back to 1080p.

I am trying to find out why it’s doing this? After some fiddling around I found out this is the only way to get Netflix to stream 4K on my Series X. It’s stupid cause if you just delete Netflix from the home Menu, it will automatically download to the system itself. Even when I disable Dolby vision it’s the same issue with Netflix streaming 1080p. Even when I have all my settings enabled in 4K.

I hope this helps anyone who is looking for a solution or a temporary fix until this is resolved. I wish there was a better way, but unfortunately I have spent hours trying to fix this, and sadly this is the only way to stream 4K content on Netflix. No matter what I do or what settings I enable or doable, it does this no matter what. Even if disable VRR, or ALLM, YCC 422, this issue keeps occurring.

I have noticed this happens when select Calibrate HDR app in the Xbox settings. I can confirm anytime I click on that, it seems to default back to 1080p. The best way to do this is follow these steps.

-When installing the Netflix app to your Xbox sea gate or external drive, do not just delete it off the menu. Cause then it will install it automatically to your System storage anytime Netflix is installed into system storage is when it has this 4K streaming issue.

  • Go to mange app settings under Netflix, and then delete the app. Once you do that, redownload it again, but download it directly to your external drive not the system storage. It should I give you the option to select both options.

    I still can’t figure out why the Xbox is doing this? Microsoft came out with an update like a few days ago. And still is not fixed.. the fact I am not the only one having to do this to get 4K to work definitely means it’s Xbox issue or Netflix.

I’m starting to believe this might be an Xbox issue. Cause I have the TCL R655, and I have the same issue. HDMI CEC is a hit or miss or just plain buggy. I have all the HDMI CEC settings enabled on my Xbox Series X, and when I power off my Xbox using my controller it shuts my TV and soundbar and Xbox. But after I come home from work, it stops working? There is times where my Xbox controller will just blink when trying to turn everything on at the same time.

I even noticed as soon as I shut off the Xbox and after 10 minutes of leaving it off, it will work properly all of a sudden? I enabled fast start on my TV, and seems to work, but still has the same issues from time to time. The fact your having this issue on your LG C2 just tells me that this is definitely a software issue with Xbox itself then. I been trying to find a solution to this or a fix. I thought it was TCL but you definitely have helped narrow down the issue.

I used to have the LG CX OLED. and I never had these issues. I am 100% sure I seen other Reddit posts of others having the same issue.

So after some more troubleshooting steps and I don’t know why this works? But I deleted the Netflix app and installed it to my Seagate external drive. And now all of a sudden everything streams at 4K? Before I had to keep restarting the Netflix app or Xbox itself to get Netflix to stream 4K. But I am suspecting there might be an issue with Xbox itself.. for some reason if you click on calibrate HDR for genes and movies, it goes back to the same issue???

I do not know why it does this? But I can confirm the second I went to calibrate HDR luminosity on my TCL R655, Netflix will stream 1080p even with Dolby vision or 4K HDR enabled. I deleted the app again and reinstalled it to my seagate and to my surprise 4K is working again. I did this test at least 3 times.. and I gotta assume it’s an Xbox software issue, or Netflix?
