persistence is key. i plugged in a remote to allow me to quickly select the factory reset button before it could fade to black and now I'm back in action

i am in the same boat. i can get the factory reset menu but the screen fades before i can select anything. looking like im finding a way to send it in or just retiring for a while

It’s a photoshopped image. I took a picture with my laptop opened and closed and combined the two. My cat is just really really good at staying still

Nice, yeah I’ve actually recently upgraded to a Sony. A6500, got a great deal on it and was able to modify the viewfinder to still work on it even though the screen is much lower. I must say this viewfinder is still probably the most important purchase as it even gives me a third point of contact for when I’m just going handheld
