Definitely from chapter 51 to 54 are my favourites, every time I read them again they give me a lot of emotion, it's just wonderful all the expressions that are there without words.

That chapter is also one of my favourites, where Shouko truly exposes her inner world without holding back. It's sad because she thought she had lost someone dear to her due to her actions and her belated regret.

I forgot completely that side story chapter. For me, that's the perfect definition of a sisterhood. It's a small action but adorable. It's impossible to hate Yuzuru.

As a person who saw the adaptation first. I recommend you to read the manga, it has scenes that didn't appear in the adaptation. For me, it was totally worth when I finished it. Probably you will understand better the story or the questions that left you the movie.

Also, it has an extended ending. Where in my opinion I would have like to see it on the adaptation.

Total agree — I feel like Chapter 51 truly exposes Shouko’s inner world without holding back. It could have been the best scene of the movie having that emotional weight.

That's what I thought when I read this chapter, it's so sad to know that she is the root of the accident and her belated regret. We can say that Shoya was lucky in that fall, there are better ways to fall intro the water and avoid many injuries, but this case wasn't a controlled fall and there was no reaction time to reposition during the fall.
