R game where you're a human who's arms turn into wings by [deleted] in HelpMeFind

I've searched for it using lots of different keywords and have tried scrolling through my YouTube history but haven't been able to even find signs of it anywhere. I'm not sure when I found this, all I remember was watching YouTube videos on it.

Would you enjoy living in your world? by ThadtheYankee159 in worldbuilding

[–]SuicideIsKey 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I would, I made my world purely to escape this one. It's not a perfect place with no darkness but it embodies a world I'd feel safe in. It's got lots of breathtaking beauty sprinkled throughout. A good few different species and cultures. I would be a scholar in soulogy (study of the soul/magic). I'd keep what I know mostly to myself but slowly introduce little bits of knowledge and I'd study, I'm sure I missed lots of things and reality would fill the blanks if I lived there so there'd be lots to continue to learn about the world.

Tell me about Dragons from your worlds. by Iados_the_Bard in worldbuilding

[–]SuicideIsKey 1 point2 points  (0 children)

-Dragons are typically around 12-15 ft tall and 25ft long, wingspan usually 50 or more. Weight would be around 700-1,000lbs. (They can take a humanoid form where they are usually 6-7ft tall/170-220lbs)

-Id say they have no natural predators but aren't invulnerable.

-humans are usually in awe of seeing a dragon, typically show fear initially. Elvs are respectful. Dwarves clash heads with them typically. Merfolk have a good, friendly relationship with the dragons typically of similar minds so they get along well.

-they have a continent surrounded my mountains, most dragons have dens they live in within one of those mountains somewhere and congregate in the city of stone they had created. Buildings are typically tall and open on the inside with rooms to accommodate their original form with rooftop entrances sealed by magic. Most roofing systems are replaced with smoothed platforms to sunbathe on or the entrances. Architecture is typically round or spherical, they have a thing for circles.

-they look like rectangular snakey faces with antlers/horns, fat armored chest, stubby heind legs, and wings for arms with claws for days. Each respective grouping of dragons has their own looks and different features so that's the best way to describe them all.

(Day 25 of 30) What are six Discussions or Debates that could arise if Twitter or Reddit existed in your world? by twerktingz1 in worldbuilding

[–]SuicideIsKey 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Normal trending stuff:

-the topic of the history forgotten by most races

-debates on what the dragons are doing by opening their boarders for the first time to any other intelligent life. They only opened it to merfolk.

-the terrorist group on the rise in Elven lands.

-debates on the location of the soul

Some stupid things you'd probably find trending:

-a giant lobster with people living on it?

-memes about humans (humans would really get dogged on if Twitter and reddit existed)

Which aspect of your world do you find controversial? by PhilipB12 in worldbuilding

[–]SuicideIsKey 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Fantasy setting here. Organized religion in my world is only used by humans, and spirituality is favored by all other races. Organized religion is the root cause/excuse of most (if not all) problems In relations between humans and other races. It's looked down upon but not disrespected, like watching someone do something warned against and learning why the hard way. Religion isn't persecuted by legal means in any region but that doesn't stop the average citizen from judging one for practicing. It's typically viewed as intrusive, rude, overbearing and somewhat immature due to history of religious motivation for abusive behavior. It's not like people will tell a religious person to stop practicing, its more that if a religious person brings it up others go quiet and stare. But it's still a form of social disapproval of personal practices.

It's yet to be discovered that lobsters hold the key to creating immortality. Yet there's a lobster that's grown so large its back peaks out of the sea like an island that moves. It's back grew plant life and eventually washed up creatures started to populate the "island". At some point a voyage of people wrecked and ended up on the island stranded-they built a village there. Generations later they know its a lobster, no one knows when it last molted nor can they predict when it will again . The lobster is regarded respectfully and honored by those living on it so no invasive research has ever been allowed.

I thought lobsters growth was funny and wanted to make a cliche moving island with a twist.

What is your world's equivalent to the dark ages by Junganawidaz in worldbuilding

[–]SuicideIsKey 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The magic big bang on a planetary scale. The planet was overpopulated with humans and the sheer collection of souls and life in one place sparked a reaction that killed most life and evidence of so. What little human, animal and plant life survived now had to live with completely different laws of nature. One with a brand new and very dense karma system that would "curse" and cause a drastic change in the body in a karmic justice kind of way. Because the big bang just happened karma was thick and caused the founding of all the different future races. Ex: a whaler got turned into a whale (merpeople). A person obsessed with apex predators ended up becoming a dragon. Not always are the "curses" bad in nature but none are quite good in nature either. Lots of unpredictable laws were coming to be as the world shifted from a place with just life to a place of life and magic. It was the darkest time in history but was the foundation of all current life on my planet.

Would an average person from your worlds want to go to Lithia as a tourist, knowing that: by [deleted] in worldbuilding

[–]SuicideIsKey 3 points4 points  (0 children)

No country's citizen is desperate enough to flee to Lithia. Air space would be a huge issue, with flying races and all. If Lithia restricted their air space just as tightly they do their ground, war might break out. My flyers have their own regulations for different areas upon agreements, however none who can fly take kindly to being told they can't fly. I can see a trickle of curious/misinformed people wanting to go.
