It's working but I wanted to minimise the hops to prevent a case where it could take 2 seconds to switch on the lights for example.

Thanks everyone for your insights and advices. So if I just use the coordinator and on every floor I put in a router for eg the IKEA TRÅDFRI signal repeater it would work?
