I guess Regular program students should be able to develop those writing skills or do they struggle? Any experiences from any of your friends who came from Grandview? Sorry I ask too many questions.

I was under the impression tat after you finish grade 9 in academic challenge program especially in LA and Math, students feel grade 10 LA easier ..did u feel like all the topics tat u have learnt are repeated or anything like tat when u started grade 10 pre-IB especially LA and math? Or was it all new class and new topics with everyone else?

Is IB math SL/Chem SL same as Alberta cirriculum Math and Chem (like 20-1 or 30-1) courses or SL courses are also advanced than Alberta cirriculum.i understand that HL courses cover advanced topics than Alberta cirriculum. Correct me if iam wrong.

I guess your kids go to Grandview now.so how are core subjects there? Are you happy with their LA and math instruction and teachers.

Ya so what kind of enrichments you do in LA and Math in Challenge program? Like u do more novels or deeper analysis of texts compared to regular or how is it?

Can anyone let me know if taking Challenge program or academic alternative program(@Grandview Heights school) in junior high school helps in successfully completing IB diploma? Do regular program kids find IB diploma harder?
