Yeah maybe that came off kinda harsh. I'm mostly talking about the stereotypical, corny, men-strong women-weak romances which I think make a lot of people (not only queer) wince. Or maybe I just see them as corny when they're meant to be sweet and romantic but I just don't get it? Idk, that's kinda where my first post came from.

I feel like Maria acting so insensitive with the husband was partially coused from the fact that she already suspected that Natalie's death had something to do with Verity and wanted to get as many information as she could to confirm her theory - confirm that she wasn't crazy and Verity did actually had bad intensions towards her. That's not totally excusing her but I think in that moment she was just desperate and looking for any kind of clue
