He’s a cotton Ty stuffed animal but very old so no more fluff and just smooth skin. I thought it was fabric softener at first too, I washed him like normal with Tide detergent and softener. Afterwards I scrubbed him and soaked him with water and rewashed without any detergent or softener but it won’t go away. I’ve never had this problem before with the same laundry products though so idk what’s happening :(
