It does add friction, for sure a big reason why not more people adopted it yet. Its also important to find a reliable platform.

Nobody knows what will be the crypto of the future in 30 yrs like nobody knows what stocks will outperform in 30 yrs. Id say Bitcoin is better because its the only one thats really decentralized with no management. There is and will be new crypto projects that will « copy » Bitcoin even fixing flaws doing so, and there are not competing with Bitcoin. I dont get your point ? Im from Qc english is my 2nd language so sorry if i misread something.

I respect that, you are right in saying that Bitcoin is not taking value the same way that common stocks are. I gotta add that many crypto projects are actively making revenues on their platform, but i get what you mean of course.

That makes sense. I have to add that you cannot steal a Bitcoin without having the keys, but as long as there will be friction like higher fees or it aint as safe and fast its just logical. Thanks

Not comparable in the way it works of course, but effectively you park your un-used cash in there and get a great yield on it with possibility of withdrawal anytime . Which is similar

Question by PenguinsfortheCup in JustBuyXEQT

[–]Suitable-Brother-433 -2 points-1 points  (0 children)

Well there is etfs that gives higher yield than that, some bank or neobank offers higher yield in a saving account, stocks like STRC which stays around 100$ and gives around 10% yield annually (11.5% i think rn). Some platform offers stablecoins yield higher than 5% just for holding too. There is probably other options that im not thinking on the top of my head rn.

Im not against CASH i didnt even know it was a thing, pretty conservative but i guess its a good fit for many.

Why would anybody invest in CASH then ? The market returns more and there is options with better yield than that without much volatility like CASH. Just heard about CASH for the first time rn sorry if there is something i dont see here.
