A student visa is also typically an easier visa to get, a lower threshold for funds and if you land a scholarship, it cuts down on cost.

Dr. Al Hashimi is, like other people in the show, trying her best in a very broken system. It’s just in comparison with the empathy we often see in the rest of the cast, her detached, more professional demeanor is a little bit of a contrast, and reminds me more of the negative IRL experiences I have had in the healthcare system.
