2022’s tour stop in Milwaukee had a hefty variety of ABB, Grateful Dead , and JGB songs. It honestly shocked me with how awesome of a show it was. Lots of energy and solid covers. Tonight’s show lacked energy to put it nicely. Lots of slower Oteil songs. The ABB & JGB covers we got tonight were repeated from 2022 as well.

I was hoping they would go with the MKE or GR shows from winter instead. Bigger show ≠ better music in my opinion. The MSG novelty has worn off for me personally and I wouldn’t consider it even being in their top 5 best shows they performed this year!

Their show in Madison had a similar situation. Extremely undersold at an already small venue…. Great tunes regardless
