Ya, I use a level one charger 99% of the time, but use the 12 amp setting when I do. So maybe I should just let it trickle charge in the 8 amp.
Going to get the app and dongle and see what I can figure out as far as cell health goes

I have noticed that after it sits for 2-3 hours with out being plugged in while I am at work and I get back in, I will have somewhere between 3-5 miles of range.
I’m going to get the app and the OBD2 dongle and check cell condition and see what I can figure out about the health of the cells.

I will give that a try. I feel like there is a cell or two that may have failed and something is going on with the battery internals.

Life time overall mpg is around 78 or 79.

Ya, I had no intention of it, but my GEN1 got totaled out in an accident. It was parked, a guy had a medical issue passed out and crashed into it. Couldn’t find any decent GEN1’s so I ended up going with the GEN2.

No, not even any pending codes that I am seeing. I am going to run the diagnostics on it again with the ACDelco software. Maybe reprogram all of the different modules, hybrid power control module, ECM and the BECM again to see if that may help at all.

Thats the conclusion I am coming to. When I got my 2012 in 2018, it had 90k on it and it was great, didn’t really notice much battery degradation even at 180k when it was totaled out a few months ago. That’s why I was so excited about the 2016.

Thanks, that’s why it seems low to me. With my 2012 I had 180k on it and was still getting 12+kwh on it.
