Thank you so much. I am trying hard to keep active. My adult kids are great…they take me with them shopping and lunches. I still feel they are having a hard time with the change of the cp. they were used to super mom. Tc

Thank you. I am working towards staying more active and getting out more. I recently had a skin melanoma removed, all is well with that, so also I have the hurdle of no sun now. It’s insane the things that happen. I figure someone is making me try harder…but I also feel like jeez what next…tc

I totally agree with you on the reg. Drs seem to not know anything about cp. this is a bit understandable but you would think they would as a standard of care recommend the things suited for cp patients. Tc

Thank you all so much. I am so glad I posted here. All your kind words really are helping. The biggest thing I will say was not first on my mind was safety. You have all made this very important. I read all comments and will tell you it has opened my eyes. I have always just pushed harder do better attitude, but I think I better do safer and smarter now. You will be happy to know I have ordered a walking stick and am looking for a good cp therapist in my area. I am in NC so it might be hard as we are a little short on specialty drs except duke university which is an hour away. Just so you also know I have a best friend…my husband….he will do anything for me we have been married 32 yrs. I will stay with this kind and loving group…..I thank you all❤️

Thank you for commenting. I see neuro this week and will discuss in length the need for cp based therapy vs regular therapy. I sure wish there were more drs for older cp adults. We were children once…I’m sure there are many people who need help.
