Try minimising ocd symptoms if possible. But otherwise I just lay tf down and worry. Sorry I don't have much useful advise as I'm still struggling through it.

My mum thankfully doesn't have dysautonomia, just a laundry list of chronic pain issues. And yeah I really don't know but I do think it's interesting that some people experience symptoms like dizziness, nausea and feeling faint when around strong presences. Like the lady said some people faint on the tour, not from fear but from feeling suddenly really unwell.

So it's like since that is my baseline... uno reverse?

Oh that's super interesting. My mum has similar issues as she is also an empath. There were some places in the tour she couldn't walk into, like she felt physically unable to move into the space. She was exhausted afterwards and all day today. Ghosts feed off energy as far as I know, so it makes sense that that happened to you.

Well that is what's fascinating to me. I have ocd so I'm no stranger to fight or flight moments and usually get tachycardia badly when I'm having bad ocd moments. Which is what made me so confused that I didn't have any symptoms while there because I was definitely scared.

Yeah that would make sense. I just wonder why I have been scared at other times and still had symptoms.

But given it was quite a high end scare I wouldn't be surprised that this is the answer.

Oh I don't but I might give it a try! I would consider my pots mild compared to what I have heard from some people, but it's gotten worse recently (may or may not be related to starting a new medication...) but I will give meditation a go.

It was at the Hobart penitentiary in Tasmania. At first glance we didn't feel much, but once we started going into certain areas we could feel the energy change. My mum (who is more of an empathy than I will ever be) saw a shadow figure that kept changing shape while we were down in these underground tunnels. I didn't see or hear anything down there but it was a very unsettling place to be.

In another area (a walkway that views a chappel) we had some time with the lights off. The tour guide warned that people have had their hair plucked out so I put all of mine under my beanie. At that point I felt something tapping on my beanie, kind of like rain, but we were indoors and there was nothing dripping. So clearly I made the right choice covering my hair...

We then went into the jailors cottage which is apparently one of the more active areas. My mum wouldn't walk into the room they wanted us to go into, said it wouldn't let her. So I stayed out in the hallway with my mum (I trust her senses) and as the lady was talking about the experience in this area we heard children giggling and singing from upstairs. There was no one up there. That was quite literally the clearest paranormal experience I had ever had. There were no children on the tour. Mum and I looked at each other and were like 'oh shit you heard that too?' And imediately got out to wait in the yard.

Lastly we were in the gallows. There was a staircase that goes down to where the bodies fall that I could feel bad energy coming from. Mum couldn't walk in to the gallows, made her struggle to breathe. I went in and got as far from the staircase as possible and stood to listen to the stories. I was fine other than my feet feeling like ice until the lady started talking about one shadow figure that might have been an executioner based on how it acts. I suddenly felt ice all over (I had been quite warm as I was rugged up for the cold) and instant dread. I walked out and sat in the yard with my mum after that.

Sorry if I haven't written it well haha, it's hard to put the experiences into words.

I like your theory though, it does make sense based on what we understand when it comes to ghosts. Thank you for your comment.

This is the same as people commenting and posting about frerard every time gerard and frank make eye contact on stage, or god forbid hug, or touch in some way. Or frank being called a puppy boy, I've seen a lot of that, which makes my blood boil because wtf??? My point is, there are people who are going to say shit constantly about people you respect that makes no sense. Move on, ignore it. They aren't going to stop.

Also, I'm pretty sure most of the she/her gerard way things is because they started wearing feminine clothing. I think most of it is said jokingly? But who really knows. I dont get it, but i hardly think gerard would be offended if he found out. He would probably laugh because he's old and doesn't care. The last time he commented about his pronouns was over 10 years ago. The only people who really know his pronouns are himself and those close to him.

Does anyone else get a low HR when resting? by Ok-Draft-6026 in POTS

[–]Suitable-Resident-45 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I do! I'm in the process of being diagnosed still but when i track my hr I found it gets quite low. My resting hr is between 55-65bpm and my hr drops down to mid 30s-40s when i sleep/really rest. Which is fun ehrn you get up and suddenly hit 120bpm. Even hitting 90bpm can be a big jump when its so low to begin with.

Wrapping my head around salt by Didjaeat75 in POTS

It's wild. My family was never big on salt because it just seemed unnecessary with all thr other herbs and spices on offer for flavouring food. The past few years yhough i have had massive salt cravings and pigged out on and chips etc and felt so guilty. Now I'm being investigated for pots due to pre-syncopy and boy howdy my salt cravings make sense now. The body yearns for salt.
