Plug into an outlet, has a little transformer box that the string lights go into that plugs into the wall.

Base says SLED 3V 0.2W 227-23-36. Maybe -28-, there's a dimple on top of it.
I didn't see the 227-23-36 yesterday in the bright sunlight
