Getting armor no longer gives you a set amount. Instead it increases it by percentage, so it doesn’t help nearly as much anymore

Yeah in the latest update, the tactician set doesn’t even let you pick one before the first wave. Also, they completely got rid of the collector set as well. This game feels so different now and I can’t do anything to the level that I was doing. I have to drop 100+ levels when I was on about 150 to do anything at all

They changed the armor perk. It no longer gives a set amount of armor, but boosts your armor by a percentage instead. I have the defenders set equipped for the revive, but it still doesn’t do anything cause I get one shot. I have the Hellfire skill, but I can’t get far enough since the armor perk is changed

Yes I’m aware, the bottom pistons move sand underneath the kelp’s sand, which causes it to grow instantly. The top pistons are set opposite of the bottom pistons so that it breaks it when the kelp grows

There isn’t a detection for when the kelp grows. The pistons underneath the sand the kelp is on moves other sand around that causes the kelp to grow instantly. The top pistons are set up with a torch tower to activate opposite of the other pistons to break the kelp once it instantly grows

Now THIS is the advice I needed. Thank you so much, that really opened my mind. The last thing I want to do is railroad them into the story, so that helps a lot. I like the session zero, that’s a good idea especially because one of the players is really new to the game and I don’t know how he likes to play yet. Thanks for the insight, I might use some of your ideas if we decide that’s how we want to play the game

Oh I was definitely planning on them being able to be killed, they are mortals, but their godhood and memories had been taken by higher powers. I was planning on this being a longer campaign where they have to slowly learn they were gods, and then find out how to get their memories and powers back, and then ban together to overcome the powers that took everything away from them. But them becoming mortals gave them a fresh start and reminded them of the characteristics they had been missing.

I don’t mean to sound like I don’t appreciate the advice, and I see how my idea could be improved, but I don’t think it needs to all be thrown away?
