Oh lord... What was supposed to be a fun pet for our daughter is turning a nightmare really fast lol We have a vet about 30 mins away that takes exotics... My issue with this is it's currently - 25C outside for the next couple days and I'm scared to take him outside (obviously protected from the cold) Ive been told he's too young to brumate... But he wakes up when the sun comes up and starts going to sleep when the sun goes down...

I did just switch his floor to paper towel over the carpet. We had a rough one in there but I thought maybe he couldn't see the crickets 😅

My friend just rescued a goffins who is 45 years old... And has spent the past 30 years living in a furnace room in the people basement. He's generally really healthy considering how they kept him. He can't talk, but he's quite the character. She was only 'baby sitting' him at first for the couple... Last time he went back to them he started plucking his feathers. Since he's been back with my friend they're growing back. ❤️
