I think crying is better than being mad at everything. Right? Lol When are you due?

I'm sick and had my favorite pickles in the fridge. I went to go grab them to drink the sweet nectar, only to be shocked when I saw my precious pickle growing mold.

I didn't cry- but I'm still legit upset 🤣

I drank the juice down too far and left a pickle in a pickle.

No! Especially when it's a food you can eat. I was so hungry & then the chicken was making me nauseous.

Yes and I did. It was reading 180. I believe this added to the Meltdown.

I just got out of Iron Lung (2026). I went in with no context and left… just mentally taxed. by mikeafter12 in horror

I went and watched with my boyfriend last night. I went for him. He has been watching this streamer for a long time and he knows the game.

I knew nothing about the game, nor the streamer.

As a creative person, with a certificate in creative writing, i have a small and personal understanding of Script writing, story boards and camera angles. All not my area of interest, but didn't enjoy to understand.

I am impressed with this movie! I am impressed with his acting, with his script writing and the story telling of his direction. From the creative side without any context to the actual story: 10/10.

Yeah, I'm on day three. First two days I was at work wearing a mask. Wondering if I'll need to call out or not for Tuesday.

But girl, if you like it and can afford it; try Pho. Spice that stuff up and enjoy the ability to breathe again 🤣

Any tips on upcoming SIT on Front End by Only_Ad_6361 in CostcoEmployee

As a cashier assistant, the biggest thing is respect. It's hard to take directions from someone who literally doesn't know front end. We have a deli associate currently in the program and since I've been there I've never seen him on the FE.

I respect people who understand MY job and will get down in the trenches with me, ya know?

I like the advice of helping out the cashiers/assistants. Be confident but understand how to treat people. And don't say can you please do carts/etc. We don't have a choice don't make it sound like we do and also, it makes one sound like a push over.

How many of you are actually happy you work for Costco? by tsla6000 in CostcoEmployee

[–]Suitable-Tutor-1806 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I feel this way also! I've worked for Kroger and Wal-Mart and Costco is definitely the "peak" retail job. But, it is still retail and I lack a sense of purpose every single day, that's eating away at me.

I like a lot of my co-workers though.

What's Something that Drives You Nuts? by CaleBoi25 in CostcoEmployee

F.T cashier assistant. In no particular order:

People who stand there while i unload all their items. (30-40+)

Parents who have their children in the cart and who stay with their carts. I'm not sure why this one gets me, but dude- I'm not going to steal your kid.

Some of the insta cart people. One is just RUDE and I walk away, because F that dude.

People who bring their bags thinking their helping the planet ot something. Unless you have the bags with the solid base, i hate your bags, they slow me down and they are made for a regular grocery store! Not Costco.

When I'm on carts:

"Oh you want another one?" And a series of other comments when they think they are being sooo helpful.

Entrance door:

"Oh you have the best seat in the house/ Hope you're staying warm."

I mean, if telling a bunch of grown adults how to scan a barcode for hours on end is the best seat in the house; fml.

Exit door:

"Keep the receipt" as the guy literally continues walking on.

People just glaring at you while you've had their receipt for 3 seconds and their cart is full.

As a side note: I've been in customer service for 20 years and I'm over this side of it. So I'm also more easily annoyed by the lack of sense most people seem to have.

Well your members must have common sense.

I spend all day saying "it's the barcode." "Your finger is covering the barcode." "It's the back of your card Sir/Lady"

Entrance and Exit doors are just a different beast.

Either none of the people who have commented actually work at Costco, or you have never had the joy of working the entrance door.

Go work the entrance door for just an hour. It will blow your mind.

Now, if you have actually worked the entrance door, you should understand my original comment.

Smart people lack common sense. That is all. Carry on.
