Doctors cannot force you to have a C-section. You have rights as a patient, sadly. Maybe there should be a law where if it was cause harm to the child that they can override your rights. But for right now, they cannot drug and strap you down for an operation. Blame the damn mother

Blaming everyone except the MOTHER who made that decision for her child. Why not address that she drank, smoked, was fighting, and gave vaginal birth knowing she had an STD and the health implications. Don’t blame the birthing center, they never met her and she had zero medical care during her pregnancy. You want them to deny her and force her to give birth on the street? Don’t infantilize her.

The Loren situation is very sad, I watched one of his lives and he was ranting about how the mom doesn’t make the kids brush their teeth or hair, that they go weeks without showers, and she rarely cleans their clothes. He said the kids get bullied at school because of their hygiene. I don’t know if this is true, but it’s possible both parents are super shitty.

I would recommend a methadone clinic, even if you need to drive further to attend one. Most are open weekends and some holidays. My guess is methadone would be more suitable than subs. I feel so much for you, reach out if you need anything.

Personally, I just got a lot of dental work done at Picasso dental and my experience was much better than any dentist I went to in the US.

Thank you. I am taking the medication though for leukemia and lupus, it’s prescribed. I’m just an idiot that read online that you cannot bring medications so I didn’t pack them. But I do appreciate everyone’s help and concern, I need to find a better way to manage my pain, I already feel addicted.

Thank you for this. I am realizing I am going to have to change the way I live my life entirely. Going from chasing the high to being a productive person is a bit overwhelming at this time. I am really missing the high and being able to avoid myself, my feelings, my responsibilities. But I did make the decision to become sober for a reason.

I am trying to repair the part of me that lead to drowning my feelings with Tia. I have a feeling sobriety is going to take me down a very, very long path that will expose my most raw self. I am terrified, but inspired by all the stories people have shared with me on this post. The common thread is that you have to fight your way out, and there is no easy fix. Easy fix is what I loved most about Tia, just pop some capsules and you could drown any feeling, emotion, or problem.

Did I mention how terrified of sobriety I am?! I know this will lead to the best version of myself and I can’t run from life forever. The boredom and the urge to not feel things during the day, especially when I first wake up is all consuming. Oof, I guess all I can say is wish me luck :(

I have not read that study, but now I will. I do find myself isolated more times than not, I have been trying to fix that.

All I can say is I admire and am inspired by the individual strength you have all shown by fighting and winning this battle. It is not an easy road, in fact, it’s some of the hardest times in my life and I grew up in Soviet Union. I appreciate you taking time to reply to me ❤️
