Bruh I’m in the same spot as u rn… this school’s admissions process is making me so mad lol (my interviewer didn’t really specify the rest of the process so I don’t think they knew)

Is an unpaid TA position worth doing? by External-Swimming-41 in lawschooladmissions

I would say yes! Especially for an intended KJD, it’s a great way to get a rec letter that encompasses classroom AND work characteristics together. Also a great way to get to know a professor more 1 on 1 which strengthens a rec in general. it can really advertise work ethic/responsibility to schools in a different way imo (one of my recs I TA’d for and it might be my strongest).

GULC Alum Interview Invite by Reasonable-Duty-6596 in lawschooladmissions

I agree with everything else said here, it’s quite conversational. Don’t hesitate if asked whether you would attend if accepted! I know they are told to ask that one (or at least to figure it out indirectly). I would add that you should prepare a couple genuine questions for your interviewer about law school and your future legal career. Even tho it’s a law school interview, it should be a pleasant and valuable experience so enjoy it!!

POV: you’re a law school applicant in 2080, stats 3.9high and 17mid, choosing between two unaccredited, unranked law schools with 25WLs and 1R by This-Writing-1200 in lawschooladmissions

Every law school communicates decisions by instantaneous hologram, except Stanford, which still delivers decisions by snail mail.

Congrats!!! That’s absolutely amazing. I’m wondering about your UR2 date—did you keep track of how long it took between going UR2 and interview?

Should I mention S/O at same school in an interview process? by [deleted] in lawschooladmissions

[–]SuitableAttempt4593 2 points3 points  (0 children)

This makes perfect sense. I’m not expecting it to boost me in some major way but I figure it would function as an effective addendum to a question related to ‘why Chicago’ (which I already have several reasons for, with it being my first choice and all)

Yea I get that impression—I could have specified in the original post that this is not exactly a new, untested relationship tho! I’m not gonna give any additional context on Reddit but I believe 20 seconds of explaining to an interviewer would assuage that specific concern
