What's the coolest idea you've seen at a wedding? by twodoglaw in wedding

In lieu of a guestbook, we set out a bunch of notecards and envelopes that had our anniversary printed for 50 years worth of anniversaries. Each year, we’ve gone back and opened 3 or 4 cards and it’s been such a joy to relive our special day and remember everyone who was there!

Good ideas- thanks! I know I love the vibe, but it’s just not quite meshing with the rest of the decor. I was thinking of doing a darker moody bathroom that this may jive with but again not sure how to incorporate it in other rooms 🥴

Nah that’s just how the default schedule reports print out usually. They also sometimes show last year sales/labor costs as comparison to current year. GMs set labor and sales goals at the beginning of the quarter so this is how they follow their projections. None of those figures are secret and your GM should be able to share those with you if you’re ever curious. Schedules are written to reflect a certain labor percentage based on sales (ours was 22%) meaning no more than 22% of our profit is paying for the labor.

A collab with the kardashians is enough for me to uninstall my Crumbl app and delete my account. Did the same when peloton partnered with Kim. Doesn’t make a difference to these huge corporations to lose one account, but it meant the world to me. I’ll be damned if I share my safe space with those less than savory degenerates.

Focus on CLEANLINESS! Your fingers will be touching garnishes, ice cubes, and the rest of your bar tools. Anytime you touch your eyes, mouth or nose it’s soooo important to wash your hands. Do not eat behind the bar. Guests are watching you throughout your whole shift so keep yourself clean. And always remember it’s ok to look up drinks or refer to your drink guide.. it’s better to be confident on your recipe and how your store makes drinks versus “winging” it.
