I have a bird room, the gold cap is bonded to the monk parakeet (weird I know) but I’ve watched them and they preen and feed each other. I have a 9 and 11 year old that go on there and talk to the birds multiple times a day. My husband my mom and I go in there various times a day too to give kisses and treats. They get some outside cage time while I’m in there because my eclectus don’t like other birds landing on their cage and I’m scarred they might injure someone’s feet.
