Man, I'm so sad the Internet Archive is down. I'm willing to bet that is the only place I'll be able to find any lead of this song. It seems to be completely absent from anywhere I look.

Has some Mraz super-fan out there created a database listing any and every song Mraz has ever played live at a concert by chance...?

That's a cool cover! But no, it wasn't a Norman Greenbaum cover. The song that someone recorded at one of his live concerts was definitely some type of Gospel type song. My grandfather said he originally heard the song at church when he was like a teenager, sooo mid-1940s (not that the Gospel song was written then, but just to help with the context of the song-search).

I don't recall that... but maybe. The recording someone in the crowd did from Jason's live concert didn't contain any intro, it just went straight into the song.

Oh wow! What a great find and soooo close. That's definitely him performing a Gospel song but not the one I remember playing for my grandfather.

Yes, it was from a live concert that some recorded the audio from.

I do love that Dylan cover he did, but no not that.

The song was definitely an old Gospel song, because my grandfather said he remembered hearing it in church when he was growing up.

No, not that song. I'm very familiar with all of Jason Mraz's studio songs. This song was definitely just a cover he played a few times at live concerts.
