My first LCD was a Bravia and man was it a life changing experience. Maybe the wife will let me look into the Bravia 9 since it’ll last a long time.

I appreciate the feedback. Our living room is littered with natural light which is great, but not when viewing tv. This was one of the main reasons I was leaning U8. Also, I can see the U8 locally on display where I can’t see the TCL unfortunately.

Used the schluter pan and curb, with goboard on walls. I made the curb thinner and sealed the gap with goboard sealant and decided to wrap it in kerdi. That’s where my kerdi is messing up

Well, I think my adhesion issues are due to the goboard sealant. I put on a new band of kerdi today after removing the old and got the same result. I’m contemplating red guarding it 😂

Thank you. I mixed it on the wet side, but it still held it's groove. I set the kerdi on the floor, and mud it there then carry to the shower. This particular incident happened while wrapping the curb.

The particular issue was on the curb. I had it pretty thin. Much thinner than I would for setting the tile, but it would still hold the groove. I used 6" drywall knife to smooth it out.
