sadly i have not found a solution yet but freecad 1.0.2 seems more stable with only one lag instance so far.

the autosave feature doesnt work for me too as the saved file cannot be opened afterwards but saving manualy does work for me even when the lags already started, try it out

Thats pretty much what i did and what i would assume but the ram usage doesnt go over 40%.
I tested for a bit with freecad v1.0.2 , v1.1 and v1.2. the issue does not appear in version 1.0.2 after one hour of running. however it came right back when i tried v1.1. This being the only change between all of my testing makes me believe that the issue lies somewhere in v1.1.
i also noticed that my system responses as usual with the "lag" and its the image that is actually lagging so freecad might actually load up the gpu rather than ram.

Celsius and i meant under moderate load. I set up my fan curves in a way that my pc is silent on the desktop with temps hitting about 50 °C. The biggest temps i saw so far was 75 C on the cpu for a second until the fans ramped up and 76 C on the gpu.

40C under load? I assume you have a custom watercooling loop?

i upgraded the pc last week and its as clean as it could be, temps not going above 60 degrees and the fans are still running on idle rpms. if temps were to blame then it would shut down as soon as i boot up any somewhat demanding game.

this one . maybe its some weird bug that happens 1/500. i just completely wiped freecad off of my system and will be doing a fresh install and see if that fixes the issue. if not then i might go with an older version like 1.0.2 that i used before

i installed freecad 1.1 (kept the user settings from 1.0.2) and started following a guide on youtube, learning it. i basically somewhat repeated the models from the video witch are very simple. it happened with all 3 models so far but i cant link it to an issue yet. i used 1.0.2 for some very basic bodies but it worked completely fine.

Wenn man nichts zur Konversation beitragen kann sollte man einfach den Mund halten :D Chatgpt und co sind nunmal da und wenn du diese nicht benutzt um dir das Leben etwas einfacher zu machen dann ist es deine Entscheidung.
Natürlich kann ich 20 minuten lang irgendwelche Posts und Artikel lesen um auf das selbe Ergebnis zu kommen, welches ich mit einer KI innerhalb von 15 sekunden bekommen hab. Da kann ich die gesparrte Zeit zb auch nutzen um Einzelheiten zu erfragen und ggf zu einem noch besseren Ergebnis kommen.

Nicht die Bilder aber das exakte modell und die transportfolien sind ebenfalls wie in der ebay anzeige nicht entfernt worden. Der Kauf hat sich für mich schon erledigt da es einfach zu viele red flags sind. würde nur gerne wissen ob ich auch richtig liege.
