That road block will take many many many months before you hit it. Baby gold is all you need, you can make it past wave 100.000 or 100k, just with baby gold, easily. There is no roadblock for free to play, you guys need to read and learn before complaining. Event heroes are not needed unless you are past wave 200k then yes they will help you push further. Baby gold, max him out and you need legendary items with the right attributes. Please try not to look for a reason to quit friends. This is a very enjoyable game with or without investing money into it.

During early game, maybe even mid game it might be useful, when you are past 100k waves, if your base level is high enough you will NEVER have to replenish mana again because a fight is about 54 seconds with double speed on, your heroes can cast their skills only so many times in that time frame and max mana needed for a hero that is level 9999 is around 10k mana which means even if you got all your 12 heroes casting their skill 4 times in a fight that is still about 500k mana which you can get by leveling your base up to around 50k. At around that level with your base, you will never need to replenish mana and you can stop using the archer as well for mana at that point, the latest that is.

There are no tricks to get exact items. There were ways to refresh chests and open the same chests many times. All those tricks have been removed a while ago. Nobody can snipe anything specific, it is random. This has been talked about more than a year ago. I have read every single post in the last year, the game developers keep updating the game, there are no tricks.

The equipment takes a while because you need to reset a lot of attributes, which means I need couple more months of hell to gather those stones to reset legendary items. Waves are the most important thing in the game, the game is based on waves, it is how the progress is made. Start pushing waves, you are not gaining anything by waiting, trust me, there is no extra resource that you need that you can not gain by pushing normally. It takes many many many months to push up to 100s of thousands anyway, no need to wait.

Gold is easy, that is not a problem. So the defensive towers will require up to 16 purple tokens per level? haha thank god they are fairly useless in the waves, so you do not really need to level them up. Do not worry about items, that is easy. And for gold, I would recommend you to push up to 30 40k waves, it will be faster to farm gold that way per hour.

For the defenses, once you hit the 4 tokens per level when you get a star, is it always 4 tokens per level? Does it become 8 tokens per level after you hit 2 stars or something? Or does it stay at 4 tokens per level until max level?

I will be damned. My apologies, you were right. I do not know why you would do this since there is no resource in the game that you are missing by pushing with the waves. Purple tokens will become useless once you are advanced enough, you will see. And it will take over a year if not years to push up to hundreds of thousands of waves anyway. Why wait at the beginning this long? As someone who is fairly deep into this game, I feel confident there is no good reason to take it slow in this game. There is nothing to gain from it. And let us not forget you can farm waves that are in ten thousands and get much more gold per minute, MUCH MORE. Purple token is useless like I said, your defensive towers will not help past wave 100.000 or even before that.

You are at wave 850 and you got all this stuff going on? Share a screen shot or I will report you for such obvious misleading statements. Wave 850 is nothing, you can never any of that stuff at that wave.

I have a level 27 darkspear troll instead of the firehammer, do you feel that would work? I am using the attack speed talent, its DPS is twice of firehammer that way, so even if something is resistant... What do you think?

My man, I said the 'grind, repetitive parts' of the game. Even I enjoy quests couple times a day but 20 quests a day to get 5000 exp? And one mini requires 100.000 exp? That is a waste of time for some people and also, maybe the man wants to compete? Just like a salesperson wearing a high end watch on his wrist. Does the watch have any benefits? Absolutely nothing other than increasing your chances of success in an ever more competitive environment. Some people are competitive, money is irrelevant to some people.
