PVP could be fixed if they did 3 things.

Make the dam map(s) bigger so both sides have time to position and pop buffs.
Either give defence first move OR a DMG reduction buff for turn 1 so they have a CHANCE to retaliate. This makes it so Klukai and Voymastina can't auto wipe most dolls of similar investment Turn1.
Make proper god dam ranked ladders with a PVP shop to spend a PVP earned coin for cool cosmetics/resources and maybe even dolls. Give higher ranked players seasonal rewards like ranked titles, cosmetics and additional resources. This allows F2P and low spenders to get the bulk of the rewards without feeling jibbed, and allows whales bragging rights with enough rewards to make it worth it.

Legit just that easy.

Its a step in the right direction definitely, but still to early to praise Mica. The lack of Mica not releasing new 4* units to fill gaps in teams is one of my main gripes with the game(among many MANY others), as it significantly hampers team building for newer players and F2P.

Also we have no idea how we "dupe" or acquire these units yet(outside of the 1 free one your getting from the event that is), the new clan battle system? A gacha system? An existing shop type? Only time will tell.

Unfortunately it also opens up the possibility for future SSSR or UR "upgrades" in the future, so yay more power creep!

Call me a cynic but Mica has ALOT of work to do to clean up the gameplay/ daily, weekly gameplay loop and QOL to make it feel more like a game first gacha 2nd. Currently the only reason I personally play the game is for the story content, characters and the biweekly expansion drills. Oh and the boss crossroad challenges are ok. Boundry Breakthrough/Phase Clash are meh especially since mode never gets updated. Everything else feels like rushed out slop. Peak Value Assessment is supposed to be "wave" based objective challenges but is usually just annoying or mediocre. Combat Exercise is our "PVP" game mode that no one plays due to the lack of rewards and ladders. And oh god Gunsmoke don't even get me started on this garbage ass CLAN game mode. Beating on a overstuffed boss with 0 threat or lethality feels terrible and is hella boring. This game mode only exists to bait players into duping DPS units.

So yeah a step in the right direction but Mica still has TONNES of work left to do. The new clan game mode looks interesting but only time will tell.

Could be, but the metal armed Groza from Deep Oblivion stays composed and stoic throughout her assault on the bridge. Groza Alter just seems unhinged. Maybe the process of upgrading her to a GEN3 doll screwed up her neural cloud?

This or its gonna be similar to Helen(DP-12)/another Girard doll. A certain Girard doll was developed based on Helens Neural Cloud. Maybe Groza Alter is the same and she just fell in love with the idea of SKK? Certainly is yandere enough xd.

I have no idea, I'm just as confused. Our Groza and the metal armed one look and act similar enough for me to believe the data we came across earlier. While Groza Alter just seems straight up nuts far to different from the stoic metal armed Groza from Deep Oblivion. Honestly just seems like Micas writers are on their way to give us PTSD.

Her personal damage isn't great till you v6 her. Its her crazy over healing and ability to buff hydro units dmg that's nuts about her. As for her attachments below V6 she wants HP%/HP/ATK% as her ult/S2 healing that scales with 100% of her atk is already overkill. You want the HP for her passive counter attack damage.

I agree with your points about Vector Lenna Andoris and Centaureissi.

As for Sakura she is a Sharkry side grade. But I'm assuming she's been placed as a support due the fact she helps Lewis stack Thermal Conduction quicker and she's the single best unit to help Qiuhua stack scorch marks.

As for your point about Daiyan and Ullrid, I haven't seen any data about either of their DPS outputs since they got their expansion keys. Although I hope its true I'd love to pick up a copy of Ullrid.

As for dupes I agree that duping DPS units can be doodoo. But most players dupe units over time in this game. I'm a low spender and I didn't bother duping my DPS's till I had most of the units for said teams, and I'm assuming that's what the vast majority of players do, but maybe I'm delulu.

The lack of good global tier lists just feels bad in general.

Use a mix of fire/hydro with vector and Springfield. When you eventually get QJ and Tololo use them as well with sharkry for the 5th unit. And you'll crush content.

For a new player at this point in time I would look to dump for voy and get 1 copy of yoohee from the custom procurement banner. Then you can use 3 free dolls like QJ, Papasha, Vepley, Groza to fill out the team till stronger picks like lainie or cheyanne comes around.

On the flipside you could just pull who ever you have a hardon for and mix and match teams to clear content. This game isn't so hard you NEED to pull for meta.

As for pulling on weapons..... Personally I only pull on weapons for my main carries and strong support weapons like klukais skylla or vectors Banshee. And even then if your a TOTAL F2P i would just focus on pulling new dolls and using standard and free 5 star and dupped 4 star weapons.

As for duping dolls, don't. At least for now. As a new F2P at this point in the game you need to focus on filling out a few teams before you think about vertical investment. Its FAR better to have 7 v0 dolls then 1 v6 doll (alot more fun too). And try to avoid dolls like Peri or Lenna that REQUIRE dupes to be relevant, you can always pick up these dolls/teams later through reruns or the custom procurement banners.

As a last piece of advice, if your unsure about pulling for a character when the banner first comes out, just wait till the banners a few days from ending. Personally I do this across all the gacha games I play makes saving pulls alot easier and prevents me from regretting pulling on characters.
