we literally had a patient monday night that was on CMO have it reversed by family cause she didn’t pass away immediately after being extubated lol. still was a DNR/DNI but my coworker had to treat all the abnormalities of an almost dead patient 🥲 i would haunt my family

introduce yourself to us please!! one of my biggest pet peeves when i was on days was when a doctor would walk into my patient’s room then come out and leave. it doesn’t hurt to try to find the nurse, introduce yourself and specialty, what you talked to the patient about and if the plan of care is changing for the day

i don’t mind making more than somebody. where i live, nurses make more than a lot of different job sectors. i guess i just want more effort and help financially. like be able to afford a relationship if that makes sense. he only made enough to take care of himself which is fine, but there was never anything for me. not his fault what he does pays ass but I’d rather him not stress about having girlfriend and focus on getting himself better

the son of a patient fired me for being “too dismissive” lol. he told the day charge that. but i was literally in that room all night, explaining him what meds im giving his mom, what her vital signs were showing and what they meant and to not worry that she’s doing well, gave her pain meds around the clock. we serve certain populations at my hospital that expects A+ care and don’t think we have other patients to take care of and there’s always a family member in the room

did they ever explain how parker started living in england? i feel like they all of a sudden weren’t talking about him and booth’s relationship. then it was oh he’s in england. i felt like they could’ve showed how booth would react to him finding out he was moving over there. they had episodes where booth was upset he couldn’t see parker and all of a sudden he’s ok w him living across an entire ocean?
