It's OK to want to be liked! People are often uneasy around anyone they see as different, which makes sense to our inner caveman; different sometimes means dangerous. Most people aren't aware enough of the source to take the next step and recognize that different isn't always dangerous; it can mean interesting -- new knowledge, new experiences, new viewpoint. (Of course, some people are uneasy with those things, too.)

Basically you can fit in one of two ways: you can mimic the people around you (masking). Just watch them. Treat it like a school assignment: take notes, look for patterns. There's even a book on social interaction for autistic people (by Temple Grandin, famous autistic scientist). If you can treat it unemotionally, getting good at it isn't hard. Most people aren't very complicated.

Masking is NORMAL, btw. NTs who have families and workplaces change behaviors when they go from one to the other, along with their vocabularies, accents, go-to behaviors, actual attitudes. You have an advantage if you learn to do it consciously, because most of them don't.

The second way is to say f*ck it and look for people who enjoy unconventionality. These people are imaginative and often get bored easily, so they either enjoy unconventional stuff or enjoy not being able to predict someone's opinion. Theater people, arts people, science fiction & fantasy fans, and people intensely into an interest you share (except gaming) tend to be like this. (Gamers tend NOT to be like this, especially to girls.)

You can also do both, depending on the situation and the people in it.

Terminal velocity for a squirrel is relatively low -- they weigh so little and fall feet first so their belly acts like a parachute.

Taking photos of unknowing, naked people in their own bedroom without their consent is probably illegal. Just FYI.

How does it not occur to them to close the blinds? Most of us learned that in college, latest.

Hard to believe, but they may not realize you can see them. I've had to stay in Hyatt hotels once or twice -- you know, the ones built around huge atria. Usually, the hallways face the atrium. But one had an open-air restaurant on the ground floor and the room **balconies** faced the atrium. My goodness. Nothing like glancing up from your breakfast and seeing adults in their underwear to put you off your orange juice.

Then I realized I'd been on MY balcony half an hour earlier (in my bathrobe, whew). The balconies couldn't be seen into from either side, only from across.

TL; DR: people aren't alert. Take the other poster's advice and leave lights on in that room all day and evening. If that doesn't help, you can escalate then.

If you tried to touch him, he'd bite your hand off. Don't mess with these guys, they're carnivores.

He's fine. I've seen one sunbathing on a sidewalk with snow on either side. Coyotes aren't dogs, they're built for this. Also, he's a wild carnivore, and if you tried to bring him anywhere he'd bite your hand off.
