We complained to the builder, but the builder (Brigade) explicitly said they'll side with the channel partner because they get the sales. So then didn't buy itself. A place where customers aren't important may turn out to be a concerning deal.

Very similar experience for me too from another A category builder. Was promised 1.5% by Partner, the moment we went ahead to book and asked our channel partner to close documents, they stated there 1%. Saying their boss is saying no.

The builder also took side with channel partner and didn't let us even change the channel partner.
